The Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan hosted an international conference “Modernization of Uzbekistan’s banking system”.

The virtual event was attended by international experts from Russia, Germany, the United States, India, Kazakhstan and other countries, as well as officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. International experts analyzed the extent to which the banking system of the country was modernized, and such parameters of the activities of financial institutions in Uzbekistan as the introduction of innovations, customer relations, corporate governance, reliability and financial stability, investment attractiveness, openness, public responsibility, digitalization were discussed.

The reports of international experts on the current issues devoted to the development of corporate governance and transformation process in the banking sector of the country were heard.

The results of the case-championship organized by the Banking and Finance Academy were summed up, its winners were awarded.
