Four athletes from Uzbekistan participated in the World Beach Sambo Championships in Israel.

Over 100 sambo wrestlers from 15 countries competed for medals in eight weight categories. Husan Rakhimov from Samarkand fought with sambo wrestlers from France, Armenia and Russia and won a bronze medal.

Team competitions took place on the second day. Uzbekistan’s athletes beat sambo wrestlers from the Netherlands. And in the fight for 3rd place, they lost to Armenia wrestlers with a minor score.
