Eight Greco-Roman wrestlers and nine representatives of women’s wrestling from Uzbekistan took part in the Grand Prix Zagreb Open – International Wrestling Tournament, in Croatia.

Almost 500 wrestlers participated in the tournament. Uzbekistan’s Greco-Roman wrestlers won silver and bronze medals. Ikhtiyor Botirov, who performed in the 55 kg category, took second place, and Jamol Jumabayev, who competed in the 72 kg category, entered the top three.

Uzbekistan’s Greco-Roman wrestler Jalgasbai Berdimuratov, who fought for bronze in the semi-finals of the tournament, lost to an athlete from Germany.
