Uzbekistan national team became first in the team events at the 13th World Kurash Championships in India’s Pune.

It should be noted that the best wrestlers from 60 countries competed for medals in a total of 15 weight categories. On the last day of the championship, female athletes competed in 48, 52 kilogram and male athletes in 100 and +100-kilogram weight categories.

Uzbekistan’s athletes took first place in the team events with 7 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze medals. The second place was taken by the Iranian national team, which won 6 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals, and the third place was taken by the South Korean national team with 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
