Japan is preparing to host the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics, to be held from November 15-26, 2025.

The program of the games, which will be attended by more than 3,000 athletes from about 70 countries, includes 21 sports. Uzbekistan’s athletes will defend the country’s honor in football, taekwondo, judo, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, and table tennis. On November 13, the first delegation from Uzbekistan departed for Tokyo.

Football competitions will start on November 14. Fourteen teams, divided into 4 groups, will compete for the victory. According to the draw results, the Deaflympic football team of Uzbekistan was placed in Group C alongside France and Brazil.

Uzbekistan’s players will hold their first match at the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics against France.

The grand opening ceremony will take place on November 15.
