The Central Asian U17 Weightlifting Championships are being held at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.

Uzbekistan’s Shakhnoza Jabbarova was awarded a gold medal in her weight category. Ziyoda Khudoykulova and Lyudmila Eleftriadi won gold and silver medals.

In competitions in the 61 kg weight category, Aziz Shomurodov climbed to the second step of the podium. Nurillo Davlatboyev and Khikmatillo Khaydarov, who competed in the 67 and 73 kg weight categories, won gold medals.
