The first day of the International Judo Tournament of the Grand Slam series, which continues in Azerbaijan’s Baku, has ended successfully for Uzbekistan’s athletes.

Diyora Keldiyorova won a gold medal in the 52 kg weight category, Sita Qadamboyeva won bronze, and Kemran Nurillayev took 5th place among judokas in the 60 kg weight category, which provided Uzbekistan national team with the current second place after Azerbaijan in the standings among 61 countries.
