Uzbekistan’s artisans in the largest international fair in India
The 36th Surajkund International Crafts Mela is taking place in India’s Haryana.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the pavilion of Uzbekistan at the festival is of great interest to both local and foreign tourists.
Uzbekistan delegation consisting of artisans, singers and musicians represent the tourism potential, rich crafts and culture of the country.
Every year, representatives from all regions of India and more than 50 countries, as well as over 1.5 million tourists and residents, take part in the festival. The event is one of the largest craft fairs in the world.
The festival will run until February 20.
