Uzbekistan’s archaeological treasures presented in Berlin
The Qoratepa complex (Black Hills), located 8 kilometers from modern Termez, was the center of Buddhist culture in the I-IV centuries AD.
Previously, it included dozens of monasteries and temples built on sandstone hills.
During the archaeological excavations of the Qoratepa complex, unique artifacts dating back to the reign of the Kushan dynasty in the I-III centuries AD were found.

Some of these finds can be seen in Berlin at the exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire”. This has been reported by the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
