Ambassador of Uzbekistan Botirjon Asadov has met with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Issues of further cooperation were discussed in connection with Uzbekistan’s obtaining the status of an observer state under the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

At the meeting, EEC Chairman of the Board congratulated Uzbekistan on obtaining the status of an observer state at the EAEU and noted the importance of establishing cooperative supplies and increasing trade turnover.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, in turn, emphasized that the country is following the activities of the EAEU and development of the Eurasian integration with great interest. At the same time, he expressed the hope that the status of an observer state at the EAEU will increase the level of dialogue and cooperation to achieve the goals and objectives.
