Uzbekistan’s national team won one gold, four silver and three bronze medals at the Asian Youth Boxing Championship, in Thailand.More than two hundred athletes from 30 countries fought for prizes at the championship of the continent, organized by the Asian Boxing Confederation.
Talented boxer Abdumalik Khalokov defeated all his rivals with a large score and won the champion title of Asia in the weight category of 56 kilograms and more.
At the Asian Championship, Uzbekistan’s athletes Samandar Kholmurodov, Temur Merjanov and Jamshidbek Makhmadaliyev won silver medals in their weight categories.
Jakhongir Rakhmonov, Navo Tamazov and Makhliyo Rakhimova brought bronze medals to the national team’s box.
