Dushanbe hosted Asian Senior Kurash Championship.

Athletes from 26 countries competed for medals in 15 weight categories: men in 7, women in 8.

Uzbekistan wrestlers competed in all weight categories. Only one of the country’s athletes did not win a medal. In the team standings, the Uzbekistan team took first place. Athletes have seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
