The Uzbekistan national team successfully competed in the sambo championships at the 12th World Games in China’s Chengdu.

Gulsevar Urokova and Shakhzoda Azatova won gold medals in their weight categories. While Feruza Bobokulova and Mavluda Abdullayeva won silver, and Madina Salokhiddinova and Sharifa Kushayeva bronze medals. In the team events, the women’s team won gold, and the men’s team won bronze medals.

Thus, Uzbekistan’s sambo wrestlers won a total of 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

At the 12th World Games, the Uzbekistan national team has 3 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals and ranks 21st in the overall standings among 112 participating countries.
