At the ongoing 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan, the national team of Uzbekistan has won a total of 97 medals – 21 gold, 28 silver, and 48 bronze.
These medals were earned by Uzbekistan athletes in various sports, including table tennis, swimming, taekwondo (WT), sambo, trap shooting, badminton, karate, fencing, wrestling, boxing, judo, archery, and canoe sprint.

It is worth noting that in boxing competitions, the Uzbek men’s team took first place in the overall standings, winning 5 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze medal. The women’s boxing team also demonstrated its dominance by securing 5 gold and 4 bronze medals in the overall ranking.

The Uzbekistan national team, which won a total of 20 medals in boxing, has once again confirmed its leadership in this sport.
The Azerbaijani team ranks second in the standings with 6 gold, 5 silver, and 13 bronze medals, followed by Russian boxers in third place with 3 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

Today, on October 6, the Uzbekistan women’s volleyball team will compete against the Azerbaijani team for bronze medals. Uzbekistan athletes will also take part in competitions in fencing, 3x3 basketball, canoe sprint, and rhythmic gymnastics.
