On February 24, the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan will present the project “Crafting Uzbekistan: Tradition in Threads” at the First Design Doha Biennial.

According to the official website of the Biennial, the unique exposition of Uzbekistan will demonstrate the evolution of folk crafts and their rich traditions over the past 100 years. One of the most striking elements of the exhibition is the lenticular floor, which creates the illusion of changing colors with movement, imitating traditional textiles. The opening of the Design Doha Biennial 2024 will take place in the innovative district of the capital, Msheireb.

It is noted that the exhibition project “Crafting Uzbekistan: Tradition in Threads” will be available for visiting until March 30, 2024.
