21:19 / 2022-10-13

The Ministry of Preschool Education has launched a photo contest #wearethechildren. All photographers of Uzbekistan can take part in it.

The qualifying stage of the competition will be held on October 12-30 this year. The best photos will be included in the Uzbekistan photo collection and will be presented at the first International Photo Exhibition organized as part of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education to be held in Tashkent on 14-16 November. The winners will also receive a tour ticket to the exposition in Paris.

This was announced at the meeting organized by the Ministry of Preschool Education.

The first global photo exhibition in Tashkent will be attended by photographers from different parts of the world. The works for the exhibition will be selected by an expert jury consisting of professional photographers, representatives of UNESCO, the Ministry of Preschool Education and the Ambassador of the Conference Lola Yuldasheva.

At the event, opinions and judgments were also expressed regarding the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education.

It is expected that this international forum will be attended by over 1,500 guests from 193 countries, in particular, ministers of education from different countries, representatives of organizations promoting educational policy, domestic and international experts. UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay is also expected to attend the event.

“Our main goal is to draw the attention of the world community to the current issues related to preschool education, to present our best practices, to exchange experience with colleagues”, the Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin said. – Most importantly, the Tashkent Declaration on Early Childhood Care and Education to be signed following the event, will define the international agenda in preschool education until 2030. The conference program includes a discussion of such important topics as inclusivity, quality and well-being; early childhood education, pedagogy and staff for the education and upbringing of young children; policy, management and finance; software innovations.

Thus, Uzbekistan will become a platform for discussing problems and directions of preschool education for specialists from all over the world.
