At the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum, the “Fintech in Uzbekistan: modern development trends” was discussed.
The participants discussed the degree of impact of the innovative approach on the competitiveness of the country’s financial sector and prospects for the development of e-commerce and digital banking services.

The event participants paid particular attention to the discussion of the “Digital Uzbekistan 2030” Strategy, designed to stimulate financial literacy and digital transformation. According to experts, mobile communications and the Internet create a favorable basis for implementing the country’s plan to strengthen its regional technological leadership.
As Nargis Dustmatova, Director of the Fintech Association of Uzbekistan, notes, positive results have been achieved in retail banking services this year. In particular, banks are creating many consumer products and services. Unfortunately, the development of corporate banking is slow.
