The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held talks with the Director of Mareven Food Holdings (Vietnam) Nguyen Duong, via videoconference.

According to MIIT, the parties discussed further steps for the construction of a large plant for the production of instant food, soft drinks, dried vegetables, chips worth $125 million.

The project will be implemented on the territory of the free economic zone “Angren” in Tashkent region. Within its framework, it is planned to create 800 new jobs.

Following the meeting, the parties developed a format for further interaction to successfully implement projects.
