Samarkand State University hosted a meeting with Michigan State University Professor Douglas Hartman.

A roundtable discussion was held with university students. The parties discussed the scientific potential of the university, as well as the areas in which it is possible to establish cooperation, exchange of professors and teachers.

Views were also exchanged on the methodology of teaching foreign languages to students. It is planned to hold regular meetings and establish a dialogue with U.S. colleagues.
