The University of World Economy and Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies have signed memorandums of cooperation with Nagoya University of Economics.

The document, signed with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, provides for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in training specialists in foreign policy, international relations, law, economics, foreign trade, political science, international tourism, journalism and others.

Currently, over 20 students from Uzbekistan are studying at Nagoya University of Economics.

An agreement was reached to hold further negotiations on the saturation of agreements with specific projects, including in terms of mutual exchange of students and the development of a double degree program.

The parties discussed issues of organizing a scientific-practical conference on joining the WTO in July.
