The principles of multifaceted cooperation, mutual respect and trust have a priority place in relations between Uzbekistan and the United States.

During the online dialogue between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the U.S. National Defense University, prospects for further cooperation were discussed, the importance of strengthening cooperation in countering illicit drug trafficking and transnational crimes, religious extremism, and international terrorism was noted.

The parties exchanged views on improving education, attracting qualified specialists to the training process, organizing special courses aimed at preventing modern threats, and effectively using the capabilities of the NESA training center at the National Defense University.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the U.S. National Defense University.
