A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with a delegation from the United States led by Senator Steven Daines.

The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, the Minister of Mining and Geology, Bobir Islamov, and other responsible persons attended the event.

According to the ministry, the parties paid particular attention to the results of consistent cooperation in all areas, including the fuel and energy complex, mining industry, and geological exploration. It was noted that promising projects are being implemented with companies such as Air Products, Schlumberger, and Honeywell UOP in the oil and gas industry and General Electric in the electric power industry. Cooperation has been established with USAID on the “Central Asian Energy” and “Future Energy” projects. The parties also noted great opportunities for further enhancing cooperation in these areas. Their effective use is essential for both parties.
