A meeting took place between the U.S. state of Utah delegation, led by Elder David Bednar of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbayeva.

The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.

Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that economic, educational, and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and the U.S. state of Utah continue to strengthen. Of the 64 joint projects, 45 have been completed. They cover areas such as diplomacy, trade, investment, education, healthcare, and cultural exchange.

The meeting also addressed cooperation in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and IT education.
