Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Kurmanov has met with the Director-General of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Professor Borys Todurov.

The parties discussed issues of establishing cooperation with cardiology centers of Uzbekistan, conducting joint operations, organizing internships for specialists and conducting research and development work.

Views were exchanged on the achievements of the two countries in this sphere. The need for further building up the existing potential and mutual interest in enhancing cooperation was noted.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on uniting the efforts of Ukraine and Uzbekistan cardiologists in conducting scientific and practical cooperation.
