Ambassador of Uzbekistan Said Rustamov has met with the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Uzbekistan (APPG), MP Andrew Bridgen in the British Parliament.

The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom in various areas, primarily in inter-parliamentary dialogue.

MP Andrew Bridgen welcomed Uzbekistan's commitment to the course of implementing large-scale reforms, confirmed his interest in contributing to further expansion of multifaceted cooperation, including with the active involvement of APPG.

An agreement was reached on joint development of events in the UK, including within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence.
