The 25th Session of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council (UBTIC) has kicked off.
The agenda of the event, organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the UK Department for International Trade, includes issues of further enhancing cooperation in renewable energy, financial services, health, and education.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov has addressed the session.
The delegations are headed by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov, and the Minister of State for Trade Policy in the Department for International Trade, Greg Hands.

Over 30 high-level representatives of the official, business and scientific-academic circles of the two countries are expected to deliver speeches in the sessions.
It is also envisaged to conduct B2B and B2G meetings to discuss the implementation of joint projects.
It is planned to sign a joint Action Plan for the coming year, as well as conclude bilateral documents on cooperation between universities of the two countries.
