The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK Said Rustamov held negotiations with the Director for International Trade and Investment at CBI Andy Burwell.

The parties discussed the possibilities of enhancing cooperation with CBI and its member companies, primarily in attracting investment and advanced technologies to various sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan, establishing cooperation and trade relations.

The sides agreed to jointly work out specific areas of cooperation, including the organization of presentations for business communities of the two countries.

It should be noted that the Confederation of British Industry is the largest business association in the UK, which gathers more than 190 thousand British enterprises and companies from among large corporations, medium and small businesses. Its main area of activity is to support the British business in the development of trade-industrial relations, including in foreign markets.
