The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK, Ravshan Usmanov, met with Jérémy Gaspard, Vice President for Government and Trade Services at Intertek.

The parties discussed issues of establishing certification, labeling, and packaging of export products produced in Uzbekistan based on international standards.

Jérémy Gaspard expressed interest in establishing cooperation between Intertek and Uzbekistan in the certification of building materials, including basalt products, and electrical engineering, textile, and food industry products. A corresponding agreement was reached with the Technical Regulation Agency of Uzbekistan.
