On January 10, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the comprehensive development of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The main attention was paid to the implementation of the agreements reached earlier between the heads of the two states.

A Government delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers is expected to visit Uzbekistan to discuss issues of further deepening cooperation in trade and economic sphere.
