Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan develop cooperation
A videoconference was held with participation of deputy heads of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency.
According to the Ministry of Transport, a videoconference was held with participation of deputy heads of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenawtoulaglary Agency, as well as the leaders of the railway system and relevant institutions and organizations of the two countries.
Issues of further development of cooperation in transport, solving problems that arose during the quarantine were discussed at the meeting.
The Turkmen side noted that the country is taking all necessary measures on prevention of the spread of the coronavirus infection. Six disinfection tunnels have been created for crossing trains and trucks at the border points of Turkmenbashi, Serkhetyak, Garabogaz, Farap, Imamnazar and Serhetabat.
The parties agreed with all participants of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan – Iran – Oman transport corridor to intensify activities on Ashgabat Agreement.
