Uzbekistan and Türkiye are effectively cooperating in many areas. In particular, the connectivity in the energy sector has reached a new level. The parties are jointly implementing several projects.

The delegation led by the Director of the Agency for Development and Regulation of the Energy Market Sherzod Khodjayev met with the President of the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority Mustafa Yilmaz during a business visit to this country.

The Agency and Türkiye’s EPDK signed a Cooperation Agreement to develop and regulate the energy market.

Within the framework of the document, it is planned to license the activities of participants in Uzbekistan’s energy market, study the experience of EPDK in tariff regulation and methodology development, exchange experience between experts and specialists, and study innovative solutions used in EPDK.
