On January 6, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment to a high responsible position and wished him success. The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries reviewed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.

Views were exchanged on the organizational aspects of the upcoming joint events of various levels and formats. The parties also discussed proposals for further strengthening and enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye both in a bilateral format and within the framework of multilateral structures.
