Uzbekistan, Turkic Council strengthen cooperation

Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, with the assistance of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council, hosted an international online conference on cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council.

The conference was attended by international experts, scientists, rectors of prestigious higher education institutions, statesmen, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations from Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Participants of the event discussed the current state of development of the member states of the Turkic Council, issues of their mutually beneficial cooperation, the prospects for the development of relations in the economy, culture and education.

The conceptual aspects and new trends in foreign policy and international relations of Turkic-Speaking States in the context of the current changes observed in world politics, the role and significance of the Turkic Council in international relations, in particular in the context of the East-West dialogue, were also considered.
