Frankfurt am Main, one of the economic centers of Germany hosts a textile exhibition Heimtextil-2022 at Messe Frankfurt Square.
At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, with the support of the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association, a delegation from more than 20 domestic companies will take part in this conference.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, in 2019, Uzbekistan representatives signed a contract worth $18.2 million, and in 2020 the volume of export transactions amounted to $20 million within the framework of this exhibition.
The main part of the products exported by Uzbekistan textile workers to the countries of the European Union falls on the share of Germany and Poland. Uzbekistan exports to Germany yarn, various fabrics, as well as finished products.
