A draft decree of the Head of the state “On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026” has been published on the portal for discussing draft legal acts.
The achievement of the following goals is defined to ensure justice and the rule of law in the country:
reliable protection of the inviolability of property rights and limitation of illegal interference of state bodies in property relations;
strengthening guarantees of inviolability and protection of private property, strict provision of property rights, including rights to a land plot;
defining the supremacy of private property as a basic principle, including the introduction of a system for protecting the rights of a person who has bought real estate, based on official information from a state body;
ensuring the rule of law and constitutional law, as well as defining the honor and dignity of a person as the main criterion for this process;
ensuring labor, social and internationally recognized rights of prisoners and convicts, introducing effective mechanisms for their social adaptation and promoting reintegration into society, establishing joint activities of state and society institutions in this direction;
further simplification of the registration system at the place of residence of citizens and the creation of additional amenities for the population, completion of reforms related to this direction;
strengthening judicial control over the investigation through the further development of the habeas corpus institution;
expanding the scale of rendering free legal aid, ensuring the use of notary and civil registry services without red tape, including remotely and based on the “one-stop-shop” principle, and others.
