Uzbekistan will host “100 Women Inventors of the Region” Week, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis reports.

A joint meeting of the Senate Committee on Women and Gender Equality and the Ministry for Mahalla and Family Support was held on this issue.

The event is aimed at searching for talented women engaged in inventive and rationalization activities in various sectors of the economy, conducting research work, promoting their projects, discovering their talents and new opportunities, creating a healthy competitive atmosphere among women professionals, students, comprehensive support for their initiatives and aspirations.

The participants of the meeting discussed issues of organizing a high-level Week at places, various competitions, women’s forums, exhibitions and training workshops, motivational psychological training and roundtable discussions.

It is also planned to establish fruitful scientific and creative ties between women scientists, teachers, women inventors, innovators, engineers, designers, programmers, doctors, pharmacists, entrepreneurs, craftswomen, specialists in the agricultural and other sectors.
