On December 16-18, 2020, Uzbekistan will host Tashkent Book Fest 2020.

The festival is aimed at promoting book reading, supporting and developing literary heritage of the event participating states, formation of reading culture, studying the world experience in publishing-printing industry, establishing international relations between book publishers and book distributors, information-library institutions and organizations dealing with books and reading.

The event will be attended by 20 specialists of publishing houses and bookseller organizations from the UK, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, the Czech Republic, Turkey, France, the USA, Belgium and India, as well as representatives of domestic publishing houses and information-library institutions.

A number of events, including presentations of books by leading world and domestic publishers, well-known authors, roundtable discussions, workshops and book lovers’ competitions will be held during the event.
