The Second Science and Atom Festival will be held in Uzbekistan on November 27-28.
The organizer of the festival is the Atomic Technology Information Center in Tashkent, with the support of the Agency for Development of Atomic Energy of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Rosatom State Atomiс Energy Corporation.
This year, due to restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, the festival will be held online. The two-day program includes lectures by Russian and Uzbekistan scientists, scientific readings, open discussions, quizzes, talk shows, master classes, which will be held in Uzbek and Russian. Schoolchildren and students, specialists, journalists and everyone who is interested in science are invited to participate in the event. The most active participants will receive special prizes.
The festival will be attended by leading experts of Uzbekistan. The Russian side will be represented by leading nuclear scientists, physicists, power engineers, biologists, popularizers of science, career counselors.
