On April 17-21, Uzbekistan will host the International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts, initiated by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, several ministries and agencies.

On the occasion of the event, a meeting of the board of directors of this creative structure was held at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. This year, at the festival, a large place is given to exhibitions dedicated to the work of artists of the member states of the International Organization of Turkic Culture – TURKSOY, roundtable discussions on further enhancing interaction between artists, and great creative dialogues.

Exhibitions of works by talented creative youth, prominent artists, a presentation of the work of costume designers, exhibitions of photographic art, painting, folk arts and crafts will be organized.

The participants discussed organizational and technical issues related to the preparation and holding of the festival. Views were exchanged on the upcoming creative work, and wide coverage of the activities of the participants of the international festival.
