From September 16 to 22, the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Hokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, Toshshahartranskhizmat JSC, the Tashkent Runners Club and the Cycling Community of Uzbekistan will launch the European Mobility Week 2021 (EMW) in Uzbekistan for the third time.

The global theme for European Mobility Week 2021 is “Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility”, reflecting the support of urban residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within the framework of the European Mobility Week 2021, several events will be held in Uzbekistan.

On September 16, 2021, the exhibition “I love my city: a creative approach to sustainable urban mobility” will open in the Central Park of Tashkent named after Mirzo Ulugbek, which will mark the start of EMW 2021.

On September 16, a seven-day challenge on Facebook and Instagram #Ilovemycity starts.

The Tashkent Runners running club will hold mobility campaigns near the Tashkent canals.

The Delegation of the European Union invites all residents of Uzbekistan from September 16 to 22 to join the upcoming campaign. Details of participation are available on the pages of the EU Delegation on social media Facebook (@eudeluzb) and Instagram (@eudeluzb).
