Uzbekistan to host Aral Marathon in six cities
Uzbekistan will host Aral Marathon under the motto “We are responsible for the future”.
On October 17-22, Uzbekistan will host Aral Marathon under the motto “We are responsible for the future”. The event will be held on the eve of the International Aral Sea Problems Conference in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Nukus and Muynak.
The event is aimed at attracting public attention to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s initiatives on declaring the Aral Sea as environmental innovations and technologies zone.
The final round will be held on October 22 in Muynak.
The event is organized by the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Culture, State Committee for Tourism Development, NTRC, Ministry of Defense, National Guard, National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Athletics Federation, Uzbekistan Aeronautics Federation and other ministries and agencies.
