The State of Qatar opened its Embassy in Uzbekistan. The opening ceremony was held with the participation of representatives of the governments of the two countries, the diplomatic corps, the public, and the media.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

As part of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow, a meeting was held in the Kremlin with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. 

The Head of State also met with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, on May 9 as part of the program of his stay in Moscow.
