The document establishes the improvement of infrastructure, the creation of conditions for the provision of medical, educational and other services to Afghanistan citizens in the border zone of Surkhandarya, as well as to ensure the free exchange of goods and services.
In addition, a new position is being introduced in the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade – Deputy Minister for Foreign Economic Cooperation with Afghanistan, who will also head the Directorate of Termez International Trade Center.
By the end of this month, the post of Trade and Economic Advisor should be introduced to the staffing table of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Afghanistan.
