The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY, and Uzbekistan Arts Academy held a joint enlightenment event “Meeting of photographers of the Turkic world”.

21 photographers from 14 countries participated in the project, which started on June 30 this year. For almost twenty days, they toured Uzbekistan and photographed tourist sites, attractions, and historical monuments.

The photo exhibition organized in Tashkent House of Photography can be called a summing up of this creative project.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Akhmedov, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan Akmal Nuriddinov, who noted that exciting projects are being held in the country: exhibitions, creative marathons, contests, and festivals within the framework of the TURKSOY platform.

The photographs presented at the exhibition reflect the love of the creative figures of the Turkic states for Uzbekistan.
