On March 1, the Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum.

At the meeting, it was noted that the strategic partnership and diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the United States serve to develop cooperation in education.

The parties noted the importance of cooperation, in particular, work with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to introduce international best practices in education in Uzbekistan.

The Minister and the Ambassador also discussed issues of training teachers, improving the quality of education in schools, developing exchange programs, and projects on inclusive education.
