Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors, CEO of the Škoda Group Petr Novotný.

Issues related to the development of the transport industry, including the modernization of railway infrastructure, the introduction of energy-saving technologies, and the international exchange of experience were discussed at the meeting. The prospects of cooperation in the production of new-generation electric trains were considered.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the joint implementation of projects.
