Nodirbek Abdusattarov and Javokhir Sindorov accepted the Golden Tower (Tour Dʼor), which is awarded to the best chess country of the year, during the event organized following the Tata Steel Chess tournament in the Netherlands.

This prize was presented to our compatriots by the famous French grandmaster Bachar Kouatly.

Recently, Uzbekistan chess players have been achieving great victories in international arenas, and the awarding of the prize to Uzbekistan as the best chess country of the year indicates that the new year will also be rich in victories in chess tournaments.
