In the first round of the men’s tournament in Antalya, Turkey, Uzbekistan’s Sanjar Fayziyev defeated Romanian Andrei Niculescu with a score of 6:3, 6:7, 10:4 and reached the second round, in which he will play against the German Paul Woerner.
In the competition held in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, Saidalo Saidkarimov defeated British representative Shamael Chaudhry with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:2.
In the semifinals of the tournament, Saidallo will compete with the representative of Germany, Kai Wehnelt.
In the semifinals of the women’s doubles tournament in the Indian city of Navi Mumbai, Uzbekistan’s experienced tennis player Albina Khabibulina together with Yekaterina Yashina from Russia defeated the tandem of American Jacqueline Cako and Montenegro’s Ana Veselinovic with the score of 6:4, 6:4.
