Uzbekistan team wins Hand to Hand Fighting World Championship

Tashkent hosted the Hand to Hand Fighting World Championship.

More than 300 athletes from 31 countries of the world fought for the victory in the championship held by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, National Guard, National Olympics Committee, Hand to Hand Fighting Federation of law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and International Hand to Hand Fighting Federation.

O.Normurodov, G.Jamoliddinov, U.Nizomiddinov, J.Rahmonaliyev, M.Quvondiqova, G.Normatova, S.Jaloliddinova and S.Kim won gold medals in their weight categories.

J.Sobitov, J.Jumayev, F.Qosimov, Sh.Tursunov, I.Ergashev, J.Solihonov, U.Abdullayev, N.Narziqulova, S.Rajabova, U.Jumanova, R.Quchqorova received silver, B.Otajonov, M.Hotamov, S.Sattorqulov, I.Komilov, Sh.Zohidova, M.Omadova, Z.Suyumova, E.Shmikova, M.Esonova and N.Umarova – bronze medals.

Uzbekistan national team won 8 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals and took first place in the team events.
