Tashkent hosted the Fencing World Cup among girls.

In singles, members of the Uzbekistan national team Herrera Lara Luisa Fernanda, and Samira Shokirova won gold and bronze medals.

In team competitions, the Uzbekistan team defeated all rivals and took the first place. Second and third places went to teams from Kazakhstan and Romania, respectively.

Thus, Uzbekistan athletes won two gold and one bronze medals at the World Cup.
